Adult 12 Program
Adult 12 policy
Under the Adult 12 and SK Adult 12 Programs, an adult may attain a Grade 12 standing by completion of seven credits. A minimum of five credits must be at the 30 level. All prerequisite requirements are waived for adults. Credits may be attained by taking the course from a Saskatchewan secondary school or a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution approved to offer secondary level courses.
An adult, as defined in The Education Regulations, 2019 means a person who is at least 18 years of age and who has been out of school for at least one year. Under the Ministry of Education policy, a person who is 19 is also considered an adult.
