Full-day, every-day targeted kindergarten is available at the following schools to support children who would benefit from extra time in class to build important skills in an inclusive, play-based learning environment. Priority will be given to families in the school's catchment area.

Pre-kindergarten is available at select schools. Learn about pre-kindergarten programming.

Overview:

Benefits:

  • Purposeful play activities invite children to engage in:
    • mathematical and scientific thinking as they discover, inquire and problem solve;
    • social learning as they share their thoughts and feelings with others; and
    • literacy learning as they use stories, art, music and dance to represent their ideas.
