All Saints Day
On Monday Nov 3, our Catholic Studies Department is celebrating All Saints’ Day with the Saints Seeker Challenge!
You’ll see teachers wearing shirts that say “Ask me why I pray to St. _____.”
Ask them about their saint - who they were, what they’re known for, and why they inspire faith today.
Pick up your Saints Seeker Card from either a Catholic Studies teacher, any teacher wearing a Saints t-shirt, or from the main office. Then, during breaks and at lunch, find the staff listed on the Saints Seeker Card, ask them about their saint, and get them to stamp your card.
Turn in your completed card to the main office by Tuesday morning for a chance to win prizes!
Let’s celebrate our faith and the saints who light the way.

A reminder to all students who use the gravel student lot, parking spots 73 to 93 on the west end of the gravel parking lot (closest to the school) are all allocated as staff parking. There are staff that begin their day at various times during the morning and afternoon, and these staff members are finding that their spots are increasingly being used by students. Moving ahead, the school will be working with City of Saskatoon Parking Services to identify and ticket any vehicles parked in staff parking. Anyone with questions about student and staff parking are asked to see Mr. Steckler in the office.

Music
Calling all singers and musicians, St. Mary’s Mission and Outreach Ministry is offering two great volunteer opportunities!
1. If you like to sing, you should join the Choir for Kindness! This choir is going to be fun while also helping our community, by supporting St. Mary’s homeless outreach program. We will be meeting every Thursday from 6:30 – 7:30pm at Holy Spirit Church. It is open to anyone who wants to participate (and there will be snacks)! Our goal will be to prepare a couple festive songs to sing at a Christmas concert in Dec, the proceeds from the concert will go to St. Mary’s homeless outreach. With the donations from the Christmas concert, they will be able to provide winter necessities to the homeless in Saskatoon.
2. If you are a musician, we would love for you to volunteer to prepare and perform a song for the same Christmas concert as the choir, which will support St. Mary’s in their Mission! If you are interested in the choir, come to a practice, and try it out, everyone is welcome, and if you want to sign up to play an instrument for the concert or have any questions, please email, charlottemescall@gmail.com
