Noon lunch supervision fees

For the 2025-26 school year, a noon lunch supervision fee of $25 per student per year will be charged for students attending Saskatoon high schools. This cost will be added to student fee invoices and can be paid using MySchoolBucks.

This cost-recovery fee helps cover the expense of supervision that is not funded by provincial operating grants.

The level of supervision needed for high school students (compared to elementary students) is different, but they still require monitoring and supervision. The modest fee reflects that and the fact that some students only occasionally spend lunch at school.

At Holy Cross, we supervise in a variety of locations over the noon hour: commons/cafeteria, gyms, homework hall, library, hallways, theatre, art rooms, and outside during the warmer months.
