Miyo Grad

There will be a Miyo grad meeting TODAY, Tuesday, June 10th in Room 212 at lunch.   All graduating miyo students must attend. 

We All Belong Week is June 9th-13th and YAC has activities planned all week long! 

  • There is a school-wide scavenger hunt happening all week- find a hidden flag and bring it to the Kiosk at Lunch to exchange it for a goodie bag! 
  • Monday there will be button making in room 110, the first 30 people who attend will be able to design a custom button.
  • Tuesday is free Rainbow Kool-Aid at the Kiosk at lunch.
  • Thursday is an Uno tournament at lunch in room 110- sign up is next to the kiosk!
  • Friday is wear-your-colours day/Rainbow day!

1749577535250.png ART CLUB is every Tuesday lunchtime. Come and hangout. You can work on your     own art projects or do an activity with Ms. Cox. 

 "Empower Hour", Thursdays in the large gym. This is open to all females who would like to play sports, workout, or come visit and build relationships. We're hoping to have lots of women in our building feeling confident and competent in the gym and create a safe space to be active.

Orange Shirt Day

1749577535270.jpegOrange Shirt Day is the last Friday of each month.

Nutrition Program – Every morning there are breakfast items available by the cafeteria kitchen doors. Help yourself to cereal, toast, or fruit. There is soup and other items available in the cafeteria on the tables at the beginning of the lunch hour.

The doors at the top of the stairs (north end of school) are locked in the morning after classes start. Please use the main stairwell or south stairs after the start of the day.

1749577535276.jpeg Please come to the main office to pay your student fees. Graduation cap and gowns will be handed out on Friday, June 20th, fees need to be paid before picking up.

 Do you want to pick up a credit in summer? GSCS has a couple of options: 

Cyber School and Bethlehem are open for summer school registrations.  Cyber will offer all our classes and Bethlehem will offer ELA A30, ELA B30 and Career Work Ed 10, 20 and 30!

You can access registration forms for both from the Cyber School website.

Locker access

The upper level and lower square will be locked at the end of the day so there will not be locker access after 3:30. If you are doing extra-curricular activities after school, make sure you get all the belongings you need from your locker afterschool. Thank you.

The TRULY ALIVE FOUNDATION would like to support youth in our community with the following programs:

1. Future Talent Youth Empowerment: English for Academic Success

This 8-week hybrid program is tailored to help newcomer youth aged 15-29 enhance their English Language Proficiency skills and master the Duolingo English Proficiency Test for post-secondary educational pursuits and academic success.

Our School Nurse is Jen, RN, BSN. She is here at E.D. Feehan on Wednesdays from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. All visits with the school nurse are confidential. The school nurse can help you with:

    • Confidential one-on-one student supports with medical & health related matters.
    • Referrals to other community agencies / supports.
    • General first-aid 
    • Confidential pregnancy testing and other supports as needed.

Students are also able to text the school nurse at 306-250-5906. Look for the school nurse sign in the hallway and stop in to say hello.

This summer school will take place from July 2nd to July 25th inclusive and the cost is $150 per student.  You can sign up by registering on Cyber School. Classes will be held at Bethlehem. Remai Modern Youth Art Night

Join us every Thursday from 4–6 PM in the museum’s Cameco Learning Studio. This free weekly program is designed for youth ages 14–20. Our dedicated Program Guides, each with a diverse set of artmaking skills, will lead these art nights.

This program is free to attend, with no registration required. All supplies will be provided, and we have snacks too!
