Supportive Programs
Odyssey Program- add
The Odyssey Program at ED Feehan Catholic High School is a flexible, student-centred re-integration and credit recovery program designed to support students who require an alternative pathway to success. The Odyssey Program focuses on relationship-based learning, re-engagement, and academic completion in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Students enrolled in the Odyssey Program are provided opportunities to return to learning, complete required credits, and rebuild connections to school at a pace and structure that meets their individual needs.
The program operates through targeted instructional blocks that support both morning and afternoon cohorts of students.
Extension Program
The goal of extension programming is to positively affect both academic and social growth in our students and to provide students the support they need to complete required academic credits. Students with varying academic and extenuating personal circumstances may be referred for an extension class. Placement in extension classes requires consultation with students, parents, teachers, counsellors, and administrators. Extension classes have a low teacher-student ratio which enables the teacher and student time to identify issues that may be a barrier to success. Communication with parents and classroom teachers will ensure that appropriate strategies are implemented.
