JUSTICE SQUAD
Justice Squad is meeting again at lunch today in ROOM 222! Come help organize BINGO!!!

►BINGO BINGO BINGO
Our Justice focus for this year’s Bingo is FAST FASHION!
Fast fashion is a large sector of the fashion industry whose business model relies on cheap, rapid, and large-scale production of low-quality clothing. And while the Price tag is small the costs are huge!
Did You Know that.  .  .

·       The fashion industry consumes around 93 billion cubic metres of water each year.

·       We discard 92 million tonnes of textile waste that the industry generates annually

·       80% of apparel is made by young women between the ages of 18 and 24

·       Industry watchdogs have found evidence of forced and child labour in the fashion industry in Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Turkey, and Vietnam.

You can purchase extra BINGO cards for $1 each in the Commons on Tuesday during ten minute break and lunch or Wednesday before school in the morning.
