NEW NOTICES

 DRIVER’S EDUCATION

The Nov/Dec classes for Driver’s Education begin today afterschool in Room 107 & Rm 108 down the 100 wing. Students are reminded to double check the lists posted outside of the Attendance Office for which room they are in. Please remember to take all of the things you will need for after Drivers Ed as you will not have access to the other hallways after 4:00 pm. (18)


 BOWLT ANNOUNCERS

Students interesting in doing announcing at BOWLT are asked to come to the main office to sign up.  BOWLT takes place from Thursday, Nov. 27 - Saturday, Nov. 29 and we will require announcers for all games. (21)


 CONSTELLATIONS OF NATIONS - PERFORMERS

The students in the bands who are performing this week please come see Ms. Gilmore in room 222 today - November 17th -  at lunch.


 CONSTELLATIONS OF NATIONS - FOOD

If you made food for Constellations of Nations and want to be reimbursed for your groceries, please hand in receipts to Ms. Manderscheid by Wednesday, November 19th. Late receipts will not be accepted. Wednesday, November 19th will be the LAST day we will be collecting them. (19)


 DO YOU WANT TO SEW A SNOWMAN?  

Learn how to create an adorable Christmas Cookie or Christmas Elf Ornament in room 408 Starting on Tuesday November 18th at lunch and continuing every Tuesday until Christmas break (Nov. 25, Dec. 2,9 and 16) $5 fee and all supplies will be provided. No hand sewing experience is required. Limited Spots are available; see Mrs. Greer in Room 408 to sign up! (18)

Reminder Curlers! Practice Tuesday November 18th AT 4:00 p.m. at CN Curling Centre. (18)


 JUNIOR GIRL’S BASKETBALL
 
Tryouts Monday November 17, Tuesday November 18, and Wednesday November 19 at 3:30pm all in the small gym. A sign-up sheet is posted on the door of room 311. Please sign up if you want to attend the tryouts. You need to attend all 3 tryout dates to be considered for the team. If you are in grade 9 and wish to tryout for both senior and junior basketball, please attend the junior tryout first and after that you may go up to tryout for senior. (19)

 

SCOREKEEPING

If you love basketball, and you want to earn some extra cash while watching basketball games? Then perhaps consider becoming a scorekeeper for basketball.  Our first sign up meeting and training session will be on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 12:20 in Room 305.  Bring your lunch that day as the training will take the majority of the lunch break. If you do not attend this training session, you will not be considered for scorekeeping duties.  If you have any questions or there is some reason you cannot make the meeting (SPED, choir, etc.) please see Mr. Mills in Room 305.
