For obvious reasons, the cross—a Roman torture device—has significance for Christians. In the fourth century, Saint Helena, mother of the Roman Emperor Constantine, went to Jerusalem in search of the holy places of Christ’s life and excavated the cross of Christ.

Grade 9 Parent Night – Tuesday, September 15, 6:30 - 8pm

A reminder of our Grade 9 parent night tonight starting at 6:30pm in the theatre. Please use the main doors on McEown to enter the school.

Please note we are also hosting volleyball games that night so come early to find parking. 

We will gather in the theatre at 6:30pm for a welcome from Administration and Student Services. 

Following that, parents/guardians will follow their child’s schedule to meet their Grade 9 teachers and learn about their classes.

Period 2    7:13 – 7:23

Period 3    7:26 - 7:36

Period 4    7:39 – 7:49 

Period 5    7:52 - 8:00

Band, Arts Ed and Physical Education will meet in the theatre. 

There is a Catholic School Community Council AGM at 8pm in the library for those parents who would like to join.

Please ensure you have access to Edsby and your child’s schedule as we will not have copies of the schedules available.
