Daily Notices November 21st
An invitation from LYNGr:
If you are interested in learning the ways that you could contribute your time, talent, and treasure (one, or all of them!) to those who are less fortunate than you this Advent, please come to our planning meeting to discover how you can spread Christmas Cheer, and in some cases, receive CAP hours. The gathering will be Tuesday, Nov 25, at lunch in the Chapel. We will be discussing the L'Arche Christmas Party, Adopt-An-Elder, JPIInies, Christmas Card Making, and donating to the Regional Psychiatric Center. If you can not attend the meeting, please see Mrs. Dale for more details. We hope to see many of you there! God bless you š

Music
There is an ALTO practice TODAY at lunch.
Calling all singers and musicians, St. Mary’s Mission and Outreach Ministry is offering two great volunteer opportunities!
- If you like to sing, you should join the Choir for Kindness! This choir is going to be fun while also helping our community, by supporting St. Mary’s homeless outreach program. We will be meeting every Thursday from 6:30 – 7:30pm at Holy Spirit Church. It is open to anyone who wants to participate (and there will be snacks)! Our goal will be to prepare a couple festive songs to sing at a Christmas concert in Dec, the proceeds from the concert will go to St. Mary’s homeless outreach. With the donations from the Christmas concert, they will be able to provide winter necessities to the homeless in Saskatoon.
- If you are a musician, we would love for you to volunteer to prepare and perform a song for the same Christmas concert as the choir, which will support St. Mary’s in their Mission! If you are interested in the choir, come to a practice, and try it out, everyone is welcome, and if you want to sign up to play an instrument for the concert or have any questions, please email, charlottemescall@gmail.com
