Opening Doors

The Opening Doors program addresses needs of high school students experiencing difficulty with academic performance, behavior and attendance. The community setting provides a safe, positive learning atmosphere for students who may be dealing with substance misuse, justice, family and/or personal issues.

The small education setting helps students feel valued and respected in this high school program located in downtown Saskatoon.

Referral/Application process:

• continuous intake through the school year;
• mandatory intake interviews will assess individual needs;
• self-referrals accepted
• referrals from GSCS high schools, the Ministry of Social Services, Corrections Public Safety and Policing, Addictions Services, Mental Health
