Wednesday, November 4, 2026
Grade 9 students are invited to take part in Take Our Kids to Work Day, a national event that gives students the opportunity to explore different careers, learn about the working world, and discover possible future pathways.
Option 1: Visit a Workplace
Students may spend the day at a workplace with a:
- Parent or caregiver, relative, family friend, neighbour, adult ally, volunteer, another trusted adult they know.
- **You do not have to go with a parent. Ask someone you know if you can visit their workplace and learn about their job, responsibilities, and organization.
Option 2: Stay at School
If you cannot attend an in-person workplace visit, you can still participate at school. Special classroom activities will help you explore different careers and learn more about career paths. Students may also have the opportunity to take part in the Virtual Career Live Event at school.
For questions, updates, or information about late forms, please contact your Math 90 teacher.
Take this opportunity to explore your interests, ask questions, and learn about the many different directions your future could take!
