NEW NOTICES
TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION WEEK (SEPTEMBER 22-30)
We will be starting Truth and Reconciliation week with an honour song, sung by TJ Warren, tomorrow morning (Tuesday Sept 22) during the morning announcements. We will be honouring all those affected by residential school. An honour song in Cree culture is a sacred musical expression used to show deep respect, celebrate community milestones, and connect participants to the Creator and the earth. An honour song should be treated like prayer or the National anthem, please stand and remove headwear.
Also, watch & listen for other ways we will be honouring Truth and Reconciliation around our school this week.
ALL STUDENTS
For student access, the main entrance and student parking lot doors are open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The 300 Hallway doors closest to 22nd St. remain open until 9:00 a.m. each day. All other exterior doors are locked during school hours.
Students being dropped off should use either:
- The front loop and enter through the main entrance, or
- The student parking lot and enter through the student parking lot doors.
To ensure student safety and security, please use only these designated entrances during the school day.

TERRY FOX WALK 2026
Terry Fox was one of Canada’s most admired heroes because of his courage, determination, and desire to help others. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and raised in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Terry was known for his love of sports and his competitive spirit. In 1977, at the age of 18, he was diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma, a form of bone cancer, and doctors had to amputate his right leg above the knee to save his life. During his treatment, Terry saw many patients suffering from cancer and was inspired to make a difference. He decided that if he survived, he would dedicate his life to raising money for cancer research so that fewer people would have to endure the same pain.
On Friday September 25 our Bethlehem School will be participating in the annual Terry Fox Walk. We ask that each student donate at least $1 and that would raise $1512 on behalf of our Bethlehem community to help find a cure for cancer. Donations can be made in person just before the walk at the front doors of the school or there are QR codes on the posters around the school where anyone can donate online. Anyone who donates at least $1 can put their name in a draw for the Annual Terry Fox shirt that was sent to the school.
Grade 11/12 students are asked to come in P5am just after 11:20 to walk the 1 km loop around the school grounds and Grade 9/10 can walk the loop after their P5am class
GR 9 & 10 STUDENTS
Students that are coming for lunch gym activity in Period 1pm, 11:50-12:25pm - starting on Monday Sept. 21, there will be set activities in the Big Gym and NO ACTIVITY in the Small Gym. The weight room will still be available for students who have purchased weight room passes.
