Pentecost is the celebration of the person of the Holy Spirit coming upon the Apostles, Mary, and the first followers of Jesus, who were gathered together in the upper room.

Celebrated the first Sunday after Pentecost, Trinity Sunday recognizes and celebrates the mystery of the Trinity as the three “persons” of the one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
