For students who arrive at school early or stay late, we ask parents to enroll their child in the Boys and Girls Club Before/After program for proper supervision and safety.

Regular attendance is necessary if a student hopes to get the best results from their schoolwork. To ensure your child's safety we request that parents inform the school if their child will be absent for any reason prior to the absence. 

With SafeArrival, you are asked to report your child’s absence in advance using 
any of these 3 convenient methods:

1. Using your mobile device, download and install the SchoolMessenger app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store or from the links at 
The first time you use the app, select Sign Up to create your account. 
Select Attendance then Report an Absence.

2. Use the SafeArrival website, The first time you use the website, select Sign Up to create your account. Select Attendance then Report an Absence.

3. Call the toll-free number 844-425-7221 to report an absence using the automated phone system.
These options are available 24 hours/day, 7 days a week. 

Future absences can be reported at any time and must be reported before 8:45 am

The school telephones are business telephones that are constantly in demand. It is for this reason that students must first seek permission from their classroom teacher in order to use them.  Making after school play arrangements is not considered suitable use of telephone. 

​Late Arrivals

Students are expected to be in their classrooms and ready to start the day at 8:45 a.m. Students who come late have a tendency to disrupt classes, miss announcements and lessons being taught. If your child is arriving late please call the SafeArrival line at 844-425-7221 before 8:45am
