For the 2014-2015 school year, St. Michael has 4 school improvement goals:
Following initial baseline fitness testing, First Nations and Metis students will increase their physical fitness levels by 15%.
By June 2015, First Nations and Metis family participation rates at St. Michael Community School events will increase by 15%.
By June 2015, 55% of our Gr 3-8 First Nations and Metis students will achieve yellow or green in computation.
By the end of June, 2015, at least 80% of Grade 1-8 students will be reading within the average range (one year below-one year above grade level) based on the Benchmark Assessment kit with the exception of EAL and designated students.
Please note: As we are a community school, we are striving to improve the learning outcomes for our First Nations and Metis students. As always, we want to see all students succeed and endeavor to reach high standards for all students.
