Graduation Timeline 2017
Graduation 2017 will be held on Thursday, June 29th. The following is a list of events leading up to and including the
Monday, June 26 Graduation rehearsal - 12:20 pm (Theatre)
Mandatory for all students on the graduation list.
Banquet tickets and Caps & Gowns will be distributed to students following the rehearsal.
(All fees must be paid in full in order for students to receive their cap & gown.)
Thursday, June 29 Graduation Day (Graduates must arrive at TCU by 8:00 am)
Mass & Ceremonies - 9:00 am @ TCU Place
Banquet & Dance - 5:45 pm @ Prairieland Park – each person attending the Graduation Banquet, including the graduate, must have purchased a banquet ticket.
After Grad - Buses for the Aftergrad will depart directly from Prairieland Park at 11:30 pm.
New this year
This year, Lifetouch Canada, will again photograph our graduates as they cross the stage. Lifetouch will provide a complimentary 4X6 print for each graduate. These prints will be distributed in September by the school. You will have an opportunity to purchase your graduate image, on a USB, at a cost of $25.00 at our grad dinner, Thursday June 29. This will allow you to make enlargements or email the photo to families and friends. Lifetouch Canada will have a representative at Prairieland Park, at our Grad Dinner and Dance, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., for you to purchase your image. Lifetouch Canada accepts debit/credit and cash payments. If you have any questions, please call Lifetouch Canada directly at 306-956-3040.
To be eligible for graduation, students must enter semester 2 with a minimum of 19 credits and must be registered in enough courses to total at least 24 credits, including required courses. Students must also meet Grade 12 requirements of the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education.
Students must be passing all classes required for graduation by the mid-term report period of the second semester.
Applications for graduation must be completed by all students wishing to participate in graduation activies of their grade 12 year. Applications are distributed to students through their homeroom in early February.
School Sponsored Graduation Activies
School sponsored graduation activities include:
- The Grade 12 retreat (attendance is mandatory for all those wishing to participate in graduation)
- Graduation rehearsal: Held in the Holy Cros Theatre, usually the second last day of exam (attendace is mandatory for all those who have qualified to particpate in graduation activities)
- Graduation Mass an dExercises: Held at the end of June after final exams. Graduands may invite as many guests as they wish to the Exercises. Tickets are not required and there is no admissin charge.
- Graduation Banquet and Dance: All Grade 12 students, parents, guests and staff members and their spouses may attend the banquet. Graduates have a restricted number of tickets.
Activities associated with graduation other than those listed above are to be planned by students and parents and are not sponsored by the school.
