St. Angela (1474-1540) the foundress of the Ursuline Order of Sisters, the first teaching order in the church is the namesake of our school.   St. Angela was a sister of great patience, kindness, love and she embodied an enthusiasm to teach children.

Construction of St. Angela School took two years.  The school was opened in 1987 still incomplete.  The Silverwood area was growing so quickly the early opening housed 331 students within 12 completed classrooms.

St. Angela's history is rich filled with many staff and students who have taken pride in their work and who live by the school motto:

"Together we are the best we can be!"

In 2011 the staff along with parents and community, welcomed with open arms the English program students from Sister O'Brien School.  St. Angela is a hidden gem, practicing the gospel virtues on a daily basis through action, prayer and service.
