In November 2013, Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools joined the Saskatoon and Area Community Threat Assessment and Support Protocol (CTASP), along with other Saskatoon school divisions and agencies that support young people.
The protocol helps organizations respond proactively to prevent and reduce the potential for school violence.
Using the protocol, organizations work together and share information to assess the threat level and plan intervention to support the young person and his or her family.
A full copy of the protocol is available below, along with a two-page flyer that explains what the CTASP is and how it is used.
