Q. Where are your French Immersion schools?

A.  We have French Immersion schools located across Saskatoon. Go to our French immersion information page for more information.


Q. Do you provide busing to your schools?

A. Transportation is provided at no cost to parents in certain situations. Our Transportation availability page has details.  


Q. Must I register my child at the school in my neighbourhood?

A.  An open boundary policy allows parents to enrol children in the school of their choice. However, you may be responsible for transportation, depending on the program your child is enrolled in.


Q. I'm new to Canada. Who should I contact to register my child(ren)?

A.  We operate a Registration Centre for New Canadians where we will register your children and assess their English language proficiency. Learn more here.


Q. Do Catholic schools admit non-Catholic students?

A. The Catholic Church and Catholic schools have a social mandate to be open to all who wish to benefit from a faith-based education. While Catholic schools must remain grounded in the tradition and teachings of the Catholic Church, we respect the wishes of parents and caregivers who exercise their right to choose Catholic education.


Q. When should I register my child for kindergarten?

A. Many schools hold kindergarten information evenings in January and February. This is a good time to learn about our schools and register your child. Find dates for the information evenings here.


Q. What should I bring when I register my child?

  • All contact information (home address, phone number, work number)

  • Health card for your child.

  • A Baptismal certificate (if you have one)

  • An emergency contact, their address and phone number in case we cannot reach you.
