Aspiring Catholic Leadership
This program consists of seven three-hour sessions that support and encourage the leadership potential of current staff members throughout Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools. Sessions are held once a month from September to June, on Saturday mornings or weekday evenings. Themes include Catholic mandate, accountability, vision, direction, balance and successful community partnering.
The program is facilitated by Darryl Bazylak, Superintendent of Human Resource Services. It was recognized by the Saskatchewan Labour Market Commission with its Training for Excellence Award.
"The Call" - Catholic Attributes for Learning Leadership
"The CALL" is a leadership model that has four purposes:
to recognize, honour and empower and build leadership capacity in all
to foster leadership within the community
to ensure common foundations in our work
to improve student learning
"The CALL" guides leadership development for all employees within Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools particularly in-school administrators. It is a tool to develop personal growth plans, network discussions, hiring practices and appraisals.
