"Faith in action is love, and love in action is service."
What is Together in Faith & Action?
Together in Faith & Action is a group of Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools staff members, trustees and community members working together to:
examine the reality of faith practice in our school division,
strengthen the bond between schools, homes and parishes by encouraging staff, students, families and parishes to work together,
help each member of our school communities focus on social justice, as our faith calls us to do,
reveal God to our young people through the teachings of Jesus Christ and apply those teachings to the issues of the day, and,
celebrate the faith dimension of Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools.
Together in Faith & Action is the Board of Education's only standing committee. Its vision is: "To make schools in the division communities that are Rooted in Faith, Growing in Knowledge, and Reaching Out to Transform the World."

Achieving our vision
There are three sub-committees working to help our schools be Rooted, Growing, Reaching and Transforming.
Working Together - The Home/School/Parish group is striving to share information between its three partners and strengthen the relationship they share.
Faith Development - The Adult Faith Formation group will provide faith formation materials for staff as they continue on their own faith journeys.
Taking Action - The Faith and Action group is seeking to share and celebrate with the wider community our school division's social justice initiatives.
