• 4 high schools moving to blended learning

On Friday, November 13, the Government of Saskatchewan announced a recommendation that high schools with a student population over 600 move to Level 3 of the Safe Schools Saskatchewan Plan.

The provincial plan states: "Level 3 – Reduced in-class learning." The whole idea behind this phase of planning is to reduce the number of people in the school at any given time, which will make physical distance possible in many parts of the school.

Safe Return to School Plans for our both our school division and our schools have made contingencies for this potential move.

Starting Thursday, November 19, students at the following schools will attend in-person and learn online on alternate days: Bethlehem Catholic High School, Bishop James Mahoney High School,  Holy Cross High School and St. Joseph High School.

Please watch your email, and have your child watch their school email and online learning platform, for more detail. This communication will include a survey about access to technology.

Thank you for your continued patience and perseverance as we work through these changes together.

    Stay safe and God bless!
